easy room fresheners

1.Tuck Lavender or southernwood sachets into clothing and linen drawers to repel moths and keep contents smelling clean and fresh.
2.Put a drop of your favorite essential oil directly onto the wood in dresser drawers.  The wood absorbs the oil and releases the scent gradually.
3.Hang sachets of aromatic herbs from door handlers or in a sunny window.

Want an easy way to freshen up your bathroom?  Just place a few drops of your favorite pure essential oil on the inside tube of a roll of toilet paper.  Every time it is turned, it will let off the scent.

One of my favorites is lavender!

I’ve found that a 40/60 solution of vinegar to hot tap water in the bottom of the tub works well.  Let the vinegar and water solution soak for about 15 minutes and then scrub with a brush and drain.  Rinse with hot water and you’re done!

If you don’t like the vinegar smell, don’t worry it will go away after you rinse the tub.  Happy safe and natural cleaning!

Mix half a cup of lemon juice, a cup of olive oil to create a hardwood polish.

Lemon juice also deodorizes, cleans glass, and helps to remove stains.

If you’ve got a stinky garbage disposal, throwing half a lemon or orange down there and crushing it up will help you breathe easy with a great citrusy fragrance!
